Google Merchant Center: sync your catalog in one click
Fullmetrix automatically syncs your e-commerce catalog to Google Merchant Center. The product feed is generated in official XML format, updated in real time and enriched with profitability data. Merchant Center errors are detected and fixed automatically to ensure your products are served.
Why Merchant Center integration remains a nightmare
Merchant Center errors block your campaigns
Google Merchant Center rejects products for often obscure reasons: image too small, invalid GTIN, missing Google category, description too short. Each error means products not served and wasted ad budget. Merchants spend hours manually fixing these errors in their CMS.
CMS plugins are fragile
The PrestaShop Google Shopping plugin breaks with every major update. The WooCommerce Google Listings plugin doesn't properly handle variations. The Google Shopify app is OK but limited. None offers smart profitability filtering or automatic enrichment.
No link between performance and catalog
Google Merchant Center doesn't know which products have negative margins or which are best-sellers. Result: you spend as much ad budget on a profitable product as on one that loses money. Without a feedback loop between performance and catalog, your Shopping campaigns are suboptimal.
How Fullmetrix optimizes your Merchant Center
Compliant, auto-generated Google Shopping XML feed
Fullmetrix generates a feed in the official XML Google Merchant Center format, compliant with Google's 2024 specs. All required fields are filled automatically (title, description, link, image_link, availability, price, gtin, mpn, brand, google_product_category). The feed is accessible via a signed URL to provide to Merchant Center.
Automatic detection and correction of errors
Fullmetrix scans your catalog before generating the feed and detects potential issues: missing images, invalid GTINs, descriptions too short, missing categories, duplicate titles. Errors are flagged in your dashboard with suggested fixes. Some errors are even corrected automatically.
Performance and profitability optimization
Fullmetrix cross-references your catalog data with performance data (ROAS, margin, stock) to optimize your feed. Raise bids on profitable products, exclude unprofitable ones from the feed, prioritize best-sellers. The feedback loop between Merchant Center and your performance becomes automatic.
Connect your Merchant Center in 4 steps
Sync your catalog
If your store is already connected to Fullmetrix, all your products are available. Otherwise, install the PrestaShop, WooCommerce or Shopify module or app and launch the initial sync. Products, variations, prices, images and stock are imported in the background.
Configure the Merchant Center feed
Create a new feed of Google Merchant Center type. Define filters (only in-stock products, only category A, exclude deep promotions). Map your store categories to Google Product Taxonomy categories. Enable automatic enrichments (titles, descriptions).
Add the URL to Merchant Center
Grab the Fullmetrix feed URL and add it to Google Merchant Center as a primary feed. Choose the fetch frequency (daily recommended). Merchant Center will ingest the feed and display the number of approved, pending and rejected products.
Monitor and fix
From your Fullmetrix dashboard, track the status of each product in Merchant Center: approved, pending, rejected with reason. Errors are listed with corrective actions. Fixed products are automatically resubmitted to Merchant Center on the next feed regeneration.

Frequently asked questions about Merchant Center integration
Is the feed generated by Fullmetrix compatible with Google Merchant Center?+
Yes. Fullmetrix generates a feed in the official XML Google Merchant Center format, respecting the 2024 specs. All required fields (id, title, description, link, image_link, availability, price, brand) and recommended ones (gtin, mpn, google_product_category) are filled.
How do I handle Merchant Center errors?+
Fullmetrix scans your catalog and detects errors before submission to Merchant Center. Errors are listed in your dashboard with corrective actions. After correction, the feed is regenerated and products are automatically resubmitted.
Can I exclude certain products from the Merchant Center feed?+
Yes. You can filter products by margin, ROAS, stock, category or tag. For example, automatically exclude products with margin below 10 percent or out-of-stock products.
Does Fullmetrix handle product variations (size, color)?+
Yes. Each variation is exported as an item_group in the Google Merchant Center feed, with size and color attributes filled automatically. Merchant Center then groups variations into a single product listing.
Is Google category mapping automatic?+
Partially. Fullmetrix offers mapping suggestions based on your category names, but you must validate or adjust. Once mapped, the category is applied to all products in that category and those added later.
How often is the feed refreshed?+
The Fullmetrix feed is regenerated as soon as a product changes in your CMS. Google Merchant Center ingests the feed at the frequency you configure (daily recommended). Changes are reflected in Merchant Center within 24 hours max.
