Customer Engagement Score

Composite score that reflects the level of interaction and loyalty of a customer with your brand.

Customer engagement score is a rating calculated from multiple signals: purchase frequency, recency, average basket, email opens, site visits, social media interactions, reviews left.

There is no universal formula: each company weights the signals according to its priorities. A simple score can be: (Frequency * 2) + (Recency * 1.5) + (Email opens * 1) + (Visits * 0.5).

The score allows you to segment customers into tiers (highly engaged, moderately, low) and adapt communication: reward VIPs, reactivate dormant ones, nurture new ones.
