Micro-Conversion
Intermediate action that signals visitor engagement without being the final purchase goal.
A micro-conversion is a secondary action indicating that a visitor is progressing through your funnel without yet purchasing: newsletter signup, add to cart, account creation, guide download, video view, wishlist add.
Micro-conversions are valuable for: optimizing campaigns before they generate enough sales to learn, creating remarketing audiences, identifying friction points, feeding attribution models.
The main e-commerce micro-conversions are: ViewContent (product page), AddToCart, InitiateCheckout, AddPaymentInfo, Lead (signup). They should be tracked server-side to resist blockers and ITP.
Fullmetrix captures micro-conversions via its server-side tracking and forwards them to Meta, Google, and TikTok to optimize your campaigns on faster and more reliable signals than sales alone.
