Fullmetrix wasn't born in a product war room with Miro boards and made-up personas. It came out of a very real frustration. We were running an agency, helping merchants grow, and we kept hitting the same wall: getting clean, usable data out of an e-commerce store was never simple. We were juggling CSV exports, three GA accounts, two Looker Studio dashboards, an Excel sheet and a handmade margin file. By the end, we were spending more time building the numbers than using them.

So we did what every frustrated developer does: we built an internal tool. That internal tool, refined again and again to fit our merchants, eventually became Fullmetrix. And one platform very quickly became our absolute priority: PrestaShop.

Why PrestaShop, and why before the others

We genuinely love PrestaShop. Not by default, by conviction. PrestaShop is one of the rare serious e-commerce platforms that is both 100% open source and 100% e-commerce. Not a blog CMS bent into a store with a plugin. Not a closed SaaS where every custom field costs another subscription. PrestaShop is designed, from the very first line of code, to sell.

That difference matters. WooCommerce is still an extension of a blogging engine. The data model is extensible, but unpredictable: every theme, every module, every agency hack adds yet another meta layer. PrestaShop has a native structure built around orders, products, carts, credit notes, carriers, tax zones, B2B and multistore. The data is right where it should be, accessible and clean.

For us, that's a huge opportunity. PrestaShop powers more than 300,000 active stores worldwide, the vast majority of them in France and Europe. And yet, the analytics and marketing ecosystem around PrestaShop has stayed dramatically under-served. Most tools out there speak Shopify first, Woo second, and PrestaShop... maybe someday, through a third-party connector. We do the opposite: we build for PrestaShop first, we test on PrestaShop first, and we only ship a feature to other platforms once it runs flawlessly on our PrestaShop merchants' stores.

How the integration works

The Fullmetrix x PrestaShop integration runs through a PrestaShop module maintained by our team and downloadable directly from your Fullmetrix account. You install it in two minutes from the back office, enter your Fullmetrix key, and you're done. No manual mapping, no webhook to set up in a corner, no script to paste into the theme.

  1. Download the module from your Fullmetrix workspace, upload it into the PrestaShop back office
  2. Connect to your Fullmetrix account with an auto-generated API key
  3. Historical import of every order, product, customer and credit note (up to 5 years back)
  4. Near real-time sync of new orders and status changes
  5. Visitor tracking and e-commerce events activated automatically, without touching the theme

On the technical side, we support every active PrestaShop version from 1.7 to 8.x, mono or multistore. Multi-currency, multi-language, multi-tax, B2B, all the usual payment modules (Stripe, PayPlug, Mollie, HiPay and more), carrier modules, discount modules, marketplace. Data is cleaned, normalized and reconciled correctly even if you have fifteen different discount sources.
