From day one, Fullmetrix has had a simple obsession: turn your store data into useful answers, without detours. Most of the time those answers show up inside our interface, as reports, dashboards, email digests or WhatsApp messages. But in 2026, a growing share of e-commerce decisions happens somewhere else: inside a conversation, by asking a question, without opening any tool.
That is what pushed us to build the Fullmetrix app for ChatGPT. It just landed on the OpenAI ChatGPT marketplace. Once connected to your store, you query your business directly inside ChatGPT, in plain language, with no dashboard to open.
Why ChatGPT
You can sum up the problem with e-commerce analytics in one sentence: there are always too many screens between the question you have and the answer. You want to know whether the week was good, you open Fullmetrix, you pick the right period, you wait for the page to load, you read. For a simple question, that is three clicks and thirty seconds too many.
ChatGPT removes those screens. You ask the question the way you would ask your co-founder. The Fullmetrix app queries your store in real time, formats the answer and gives it to you. No dashboard to build, no filter to tune, no comparison to enable. Just a question, an answer, and the decision behind it.
A new way to consult your data
The ChatGPT app does not replace Fullmetrix. It complements it: for the everyday questions you ask on the go, in a meeting, or before opening the full interface. Your entire Fullmetrix setup stays active and keeps running.
How the integration works
The integration relies on Model Context Protocol, the open standard pushed forward by Anthropic and now supported by OpenAI on ChatGPT. On the Fullmetrix side, we expose a secure MCP server that makes your store queryable by any compatible agent. On the ChatGPT side, you add the Fullmetrix app to your account in a few seconds.
- Enable the Fullmetrix app inside ChatGPT from the OpenAI marketplace
- Connect your Fullmetrix account through the secure authorization button
- Pick the organisation and store that ChatGPT can access
- Ask your questions directly inside the ChatGPT conversation
- Revoke access at any time from Fullmetrix or ChatGPT
Authorization is explicit, per Fullmetrix organisation. ChatGPT only has access to the data you have allowed, and never writes to your store. You keep control, you keep the audit trail, and you can cut everything off with a single click from your Fullmetrix settings.
What you can ask
The Fullmetrix app exposes the essentials of your business to the ChatGPT engine: revenue, orders, average basket, new customers, top products, top categories, channel performance, cohorts, segments. Anything visible in the Fullmetrix interface can be queried in plain language, over the period you choose.
Track activity day by day
- What was my revenue yesterday, and how does it compare to last week?
- How many orders this month, and what is the average basket?
- What is my new customer rate this quarter?
- Give me the key KPIs for the last seven days in a single sentence
Understand what is performing
- What are my ten best-selling products this month?
- Which category grew the most over the last 30 days?
- Which acquisition channel had the best conversion rate in May?
- Which of my top countries lost ground this quarter?
Spot opportunities
- Which products have the best repeat purchase rate?
- Which customer segments deserve a WhatsApp follow-up this week?
- Which products are slipping compared to last month?
- Is there an abnormal drop in my orders over the last seven days?

Under the hood: the Fullmetrix MCP server
The ChatGPT app is the visible interface, but it sits on top of a broader technical layer: the Fullmetrix MCP server. The Model Context Protocol is an open standard that defines how an agent like ChatGPT can query a data source securely, by asking for access explicitly, and by respecting the scope defined by the user.
- Dedicated OAuth authentication, no shared password
- Scoped per organisation, never per global Fullmetrix account
- No write access allowed: ChatGPT can only read your data
- Audit trail inside Fullmetrix: who queried what and when
- Instant revocation from the interface or the ChatGPT console
Compatible with Claude and other MCP agents
The Fullmetrix MCP server is not exclusive to ChatGPT. It works with any MCP-compatible agent, including Claude. You can query your store from your IDE, your internal assistant or any MCP client you choose.

Open the app in ChatGPTGoing further
The ChatGPT app is the first step in a series of conversational integrations from Fullmetrix. E-commerce analytics should not live exclusively inside a dashboard: it should be where you work, in your tools, in your channels, in your conversations. The Fullmetrix MCP server is designed to open those accesses over time, agent by agent.
If you do not have a Fullmetrix account yet, this is the moment. The trial is free, connecting your store takes a few minutes, and the ChatGPT app becomes available right after.
